Principal's Message

Dear Pershing Elementary Families,

I am thrilled to welcome you to the 2026-27 school year! As we begin this new chapter together, I look forward to a year filled with discovery, connection, and meaningful learning experiences for every member of our school community.

We aim to create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where all students can flourish—academically, socially, and emotionally. We are implementing a new math curriculum this year and are eager to see our students build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and embrace challenges with resilience. Our dedicated staff is ready to walk alongside each child, providing the encouragement and guidance they need to succeed.

Strong partnerships with families and our PTO are at the heart of everything we do. We know that when home and school work hand in hand, our students thrive. Please stay connected by regularly reviewing the parent portal, joining us for school activities and events, taking part in parent-teacher conferences, and reading our newsletters and communications. The active participation of our families strengthens our entire community.

At Pershing, we recognize that every child holds incredible potential, and together—students, staff, and families—we will cultivate a year rooted in growth, collaboration, and shared success. Like a garden that flourishes when tended with care, our Panthers will thrive when we work side by side, nurturing their strengths, celebrating their progress, and supporting one another every step of the way.
